Here is the post and postmetadata section of my first WordPress theme. The post section is where all the blog posts appear and the postmetadata is where the “Filed under…” information appears. I’ve made the title of each post stand out by making it white. This should make it easy to scan the titles quickly – hopefully.

There’s quite a bit left to do and this article series is, well, turning into a series. So, I hunted down the Article Series WordPress Plugin In-Series. This plugin puts a table of contents at the top of each post that is part of the series. Pretty cool. Next part in the series will be the right sidebar and the footer.
